Branching from the success of Chasing Driftwood Writing Group, run by author Chantelle Atkins, Chasing Driftwood Books helps marginalised authors realise their publishing dream not only affordably, but within a supportive network of peers.
Self-published authors often feel alone, overwhelmed by the weight of writing, editing, formatting, and marketing their books. To be successful, considerable funds are usually the key to expanding readership, meaning low-income authors must battle twice as hard as those with traditional publishing deals.
Our aim is to make this a thing of the past.
Chasing Driftwood Books is not a vanity publisher, nor is it a traditional one. We are a collective of authors who have come together to support each other in marketing and sharing vital contacts, tips, and tricks of the trade. Our community is diverse, and we truly believe everyone has a story to tell.
Chasing Driftwood Books aims to connect independent authors with editors, designers, and other services required for their product to reach readers.
